Role
UX/UI Designer, Branding Designer
This product was designed as part of my job at `Shezzif` a small Israeli start-up in the field of entertainment and leisure. I joined the start-up as a single UI/UX Designer and my task was to design the MVP, which replaces another platform developed, based on research and wireframes the previous designer had made.

Problem
Users
Currently, there is no platform in Israel that connects consumers with suppliers. If consumers do not have access to diverse offerings, they will avoid them. As a result, events are purchased and managed offline, making pricing less competitive. Most payments are made via traditional methods (cash, check or bank transfer) in advance of the event.
Business
It was too complex for 'Shezzif`s' first customers to create an event with the initial platform, so the MVP goal was to solve the main pain points and issues.'Shezif' was developed as an intuitive interface that simplifies the process of creating an event. This enables customers to quickly create events with the platform and get their desired results.
MVP Goal
List the core event bundles to reduce time spent to complete a purchasing process compared to the initial product, and scale sales.

Competitors
1. Event producers
An external event manager that charges high commissions. This service is suitable for certain circles of the population in a higher-than-average socio-economic situation
2. Three different event platforms
Each offers other services and no one provides the entire experience and full bundle.

Target Audience
Our users divided into three types and two sectors
the private and the business.
User-Research Findings
By focusing on the user, the research goals were:
1. What is the most effective way to design an event bundle purchasing process?
2. What should we emphasize in the process?

Shezzif MVP
Simplify the decision-making process
When planning an event, the first thing users think about is the budget and how they can maximize its value. However, the last thing we want is for the user to overthink what vendors they should book or how to find the right place.
To simplify the decision-making process for the user, we designed a process that tailors the most appropriate “vendor combination” for the user that is within their budget.
Our main purpose and the message that is delivered to the user are:

“Event in a click"
Credibility & the X-factor
Creating credibility and reliability on evolving platforms, especially for large-scale purchases, is essential.
88% of internet users trust testimonials or recommendations.

The testimonials are shown at the end of the home page and are connected directly to the social media profiles of the writers.

No more trouble you can choose a bundle
The MVP`s goal was to shorten the event planning process by suggesting ready-to-use bundles in a logical range of prices and we achieved it through two main design decisions:

From modal to full page
The original user flow ended with two modal windows (pop-ups). The first was a form fill modal to get user details, and the second was to announce that the user completed the bundle purchase process.
The idea behind the modal window is to give the user the feeling that every action is reversible. He can easily return to the previous part.

Responsive and Full Experience
The platform was designed to be responsive.
My main efforts were to create a design that could easily adapt depending on the device without unusual changes.
In this way, the user can adapt quickly to the platform.

Design Concept
Inspiration
The design process started with four words that guided me to the final result. The following words were chosen according to the start-up`s values and goals:
Confident,
Clean,
Fun and
Minimal
Logo
The inspiration for the logo was sharing something, giving a taste of what is coming next.
Celebration, surprises, and happiness.
Colours
Minimize the colour plate with a dominant brand colour that is memorable to the user.

Animations
To create a user-friendly experience and a happy-optimistic platform vibe, I combined gif animations in the design that are based on the same brand colours and transmit something light and cheerful.
Product Launch
the form fill as a full page with the option to make choices in the order
After releasing the product to the market and performing usability testing we gained a few key insights:
1. Once the user "purchases a bundle", they are faced with questions such as: how flexible is this bundle? How can we make changes to food/music?
2. The modal window is no longer a modal if the user needs to scroll down
So the obvious conclusion was to make the window a whole page and make the user feel safe in other ways.

Prototype & Current Status
The product is currently available on the market and a few packages have been purchased so far. Due to a lack of budget, it was decided by the CEO that the work will be temporarily stopped. In my opinion, if the project is renewed, the next step should be to continue testing in parallel with marketing work on social media and other channels.
